Sloane is a recent (and proud) graduate of Kutztown University with a BFA in Communication Design, concentrating in both Interactive and Graphic Design. Her interactive work garnered her an award nomination from the Kutztown Communication Design faculty. Luckily for us, she has decided to continue her career with IC. As a passionate web student, Sloane took the initiative to gain interactive design experience outside of the classroom. During her education and internships, she took part in several WordPress projects, executing front-end development and design, content organization, site migration, and collaboration with back-end developers. She also worked with a smaller design agency that specialized in creating digital experiences, which afforded her the opportunity to take part in creative meetings, work on web-based projects, and edit photos for clients and internal projects. In addition to her professional roots, it’s interesting to note that she drinks neither coffee nor tea…but has never met a Pepsi that she doesn’t want to devour. Sloane has professed that she follows more cats on Instagram than she is willing to admit, and is proud of the fact that her mother named her after Sloane Peterson from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (does anyone else feel old for seeing that in the theaters?). Essentially, Sloane’s got the kind of work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and random quirkiness that we love at IC. A future wearer-of-many-hats as well as someone who will get our silly references.
